The title of this blog post should be a dead giveaway that this post is about my very fashionable and in with the hottest items daughter Bella! This girl is the best dressed 13 year girl that I know! She never went through those “awkward middle school” years, instead, she powered through 6th, 7th and 8th grade rocking OOTD and OTKB, having trending jewelry and always the perfect “natural” makeup look! So of course, when writing a post about what to buy your 13 year old, I had to go directly to the source!

The hard thing with Bella (for me at least) is that she has EVERYTHING so shopping for her has become very difficult! Good thing for everyone else, is that she has reviewed it can tell us her honest opinion!

BEAUTY

Starting with her favorite products… all things BEAUTY! Like I mentioned, she is always rocking a beautiful natural look. One thing that she has become obsessed with at such a young age is skin care! She is lucky to have very little breakouts and the ones that she does have she uses these products (I will take credit for this one, as these are my products and she happens to use them frequently!)

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion and I love that Nordstrom carries the Mario Badescu Latest and Greatest set including the miracle drying lotion AND our very favorite facial spray with the two best scents… Lavender and Rosewater! They are very calming to the skin and the scent is very relaxing!

Dior Show Overcurl Mascara  is one of Bella’s very favorite mascaras! *BONUS Sephora is having their VIB sale this weekend and you can get 20% off PROMO CODE VIBBONUS* She has used this one and the L’Oreal Voluminous mascara and says these are her go to products.

Bella doesn’t wear eyeshadow all the time but she really likes the Naked palates from Sephora. Naked2 Palette has beautiful “neutral” colors and are nice for her to use for cheer and when she dresses up!

Love Beauty and Planet products have been a house favorite since we picked them up at Target! Amazon just started selling them too, they are priced great and the scents are great! We personally have loved the Rose scent in the lotion and the body wash… however the coconut is also to dye for 🙂 We do have pretty sensitive skin and were presently surprised that this was very gentle!

Inexpensive and great stocking stuffer… beautyblender!

Bella is a sucker for a face mask and does them at least once or twice a week!

Last year Bella got an Impressions Vanity mirror for Christmas and she has LOVED IT. We set up an little Ikea desk in front of her window for natural light and she has this mirror there to get ready.

The last beauty item that she doesn’t have but she is very interested in the Clarisonic Mia facial brush cleaner. This is something that I personally have and it makes a HUGE difference in your nightly facial cleansing routine. *THIS IS ALSO PART OF THE SEPHORA SALE- 20% OFF*

CLOTHING

Calvin Klein Sports Bra and underwear are one of Bella’s new favorites. This may find its way into her stocking!

Recently Bella has found a new love with American Eagle. As her mother, I also love items from there so we tend to have some “matching” items at times! I always tell her she looks like the best dressed 13 going on 30 something year old out there!

Sleepwear is key when you are busy teenager! We are very rarely home, so having something cute and comfortable when you are home to just “lounge” in, is where it is at!

Zella live in leggings are a great staple to wear with sweaters and athletic apparel. Bella also has a pair of the Zella brand legging with mesh (40% off- under $40) that she LOVES paired with an Adidas sweatshirt. These Sun Salutational high waisted leggings are on sale and have been on Bella’s wish list for Christmas!

You can never have enough SHOES!! Bella’s FAVORITE casual shoes are the Adidas Superstar classic black and white (a flash back to my middle school days!) Her favorite bootie that she says is VERY COMFORTABLE and bonus… waterproof too (great when she walks to school) Blondo Linda bootie (also on sale!)

Bella and I share the love for our North Face vest! It is essential in cooler weather!

ACCESSORIES

Kendra Scott necklace. She has it in two colors and wears them all the time. She has the red for her birthstone and has a neutral white one that she practically wears all everyday!

Marble iPhone case… great stocking stuffer!

PB Teen makeup bags… HELLO GORGEOUS and pop up makeup bag. The print on these is adorable, actually matches her bedding! They also have this adorable Benefit hair wrap and mask!

A couple last minute things that I love to give for Christmas… “EXPERIENCES! This gift would vary for Bella as she is very outdoorsy with her dad and very girly with her mom! If I were to give her this gift… we would go to the dry bar and get blowouts, do our nails and then spend our Christmas money!

Bella and I could shop for HOURS and the list would be over one hundred deep! I know that I have a couple fun ideas for Christmas after scouring the internet with her by my side! Happy Shopping!
